by two different people with a third who blended the stories together. In any case Moses predated the author by a thousand
years not the fifty of the New Testament.
I am irritated with the deference shown the Jesus deniers not because
I think there is anything special about Jesus but because their position minimizes and mocks the scholarship that was done.
I'd be just as outraged if you decided to allow serious talk of Faster than light space ship travel as science rather
than science fiction.
It is not as if the issue has not been examined by the academics because it has. It has been
rejected. That is what galls me. I also doubt seriously that you would humor a YECer too long either.

Btw, the reason so many people get emotional over the
'Jesus-name' is because what is called the 'immanent Christbody' (supposedly sent on pentecost or shabuoth
- May20th, 31AD on a particular timeline) is a PHYSICAL FACT and so able to 'influence' that part of everyone (called
the soul), as part of the immanent God.
The 'physical factness' then relates to what is called
the psychic (or psychological body) of the physical-emotional-mental being (which is generally not denied by the sceptics).
This can so be scientifically taxonomized as the psychosomatic body or relevant morphology.
The psychosomatic
(or psychophysical) morphology cannot be analysed in the materialistic sense of the reductionistic 'particle-atomic-molecular'
structure (including emr-light-matter interactions); as it requires the 'mind-emotion' component as a PHYSICAL selfinteraction.
So in purely materialistic terminology; this thing called mind (and consciousness) must first become scientifically
understood in the context of the psychosoma; BEFORE the PHYSICAL REALITY of the 'Christ-Presence' will be understood
in materialistic-reductionistic terms.
As you might see however; the 'Jesus-Identity' and as part of everyones
psychosoma (by default of the resurrection) has become a real component of everyone's sense of self-identity.
Extremes of 'total acceptance' and 'total denial' are so prerequisite for this to manifest as a physical
reality (in the continuity of the linear spacetime metrics curving in onto themselves to be more technical).
So
anyone who accepts the 'Jesus-ascension' within hisher 'psychosoma' will react differently to the 'name'
as someone who is trying very hard to deny this selfsame 'name'.
Someone understanding this then will be
able to read the NT and especially the Pauline basis of the (true) christianity in a rather more intricate 'light'
than someone following the 'very deceptive' historical christian theology.

PS.: I really like Roger Penrose and I fully endorse his neoplatonistic worldview, which is actually the
'perennial philosophy' of the Pythagoreans and the 'universal gnosis'.
I have used much of his
work in quantum relativity; especially his discovery of the Penrosian tiling patterns and his Weylian-Tensor-Null hypothesis
regarding the Big Bang cosmology.
Another good book by him (where he attempts to link consciousness to microtubules)
is the book:
"The Large, the Small and the Human Mind".
